St. John Ambulance has been providing first aid training at their building in Millidgeville for over 30 years. “We have been able to take advantage of the lot next to us for overflow parking but all that recently changed” explained Lisa Murphy, Director of Operations. “Once the new commercial development started next door, we no longer had enough parking to accommodate all of our students”.
St. John Ambulance started a search in the Saint John area for a new facility that would meet their training requirements with space for their instructors and volunteers. Parking was certainly a key factor and they wanted a location that would be easily accessible. They ultimately found space at Parkway Mall that met all their needs. “Now that the lease is signed we can’t wait to move” said Murphy. “Unfortunately we will have to wait until April 1st while the space is being renovated. “We want to thank all of our students for being so patient during this transition.” added Murphy. “In the meantime, we are trying to sell our building on University Avenue. We are very motivated and just dropped the price to $279,000.” For more info on their building FOR SALE at 65 University Avenue click HERE
