SAINT ANDREWS, NEW BRUNSWICK, NOVEMBER 06, 2026 – Maison Kennedy House, the historic 25-room boutique hotel located at 218 Water Street in Saint Andrews by-the-Sea, is under contract to Vadnagar Hospitality Inc., led by Vinod Soni. The transaction is scheduled to close at the end of November.
The acquisition will add another established hospitality property to the Soni family’s portfolio of boutique hotels throughout Atlantic Canada. The family also owns Saint Andrews Inn & Suites, operated by Vinod’s son, Jaydeep “Jay” Soni, who lives in Saint Andrews with his family.

The property has benefited from significant investment in recent years. In 2023, local developer Dominique Berlenger undertook a comprehensive renovation and modernization of the bar and dining areas, contributing to a substantial improvement in the property’s performance.

Under the new ownership, the Soni family intends to continue operating the 25-room boutique hotel, along with the bar and games room throughout the winter season. While the restaurant is currently closed for the season, Vinod Soni and his business partners are developing a plan for its future operation.
The anticipated sale represents a new chapter for one of Saint Andrews’ most recognizable heritage hospitality properties, with an ownership group that brings experience operating boutique hotels and a commitment to the continued evolution of the local tourism sector.
